Fixtures between Wrexham and Birmingham City have assumed more significance since both clubs were bought by celebrity owners.
The Red Dragons have gone from strength to strength under Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac as they have climbed from the National League to the Championship with three consecutive promotions, while the Blues are co-owned by Tom Brady, who has helped return them to the second tier from League One.
Ahead of the current international break, the two clubs squared off at the Racecourse Ground, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw.
Following the game, former EFL striker Sam Parkin believes Wrexham are better suited to the Championship than Birmingham, due to the experience they have in their squad.
This draw continued Wrexham’s 46-year wait for a league victory over Birmingham with this result.

Wrexham’s last league victory over Birmingham City came on this day in 1979
The Red Dragons have only ever beaten the Blues in one league match, and that came 46 years ago.
While it is not the only time they have ever managed to secure a victory over Birmingham, it is the only time they have ever collected maximum points, having faced them on seven occasions in the league.
The victory was remembered as one full of bite, witnessing some strong challenges as neither side wanted to give the other an inch, with both sides collecting two cautions each.
Manager Arfon Griffiths, the player with the most Wrexham appearances, watched on as Dixie McNeil scored a late winner from the penalty spot, making it 1-0 in the 84th minute.
It was a fantastic victory for the Welsh club at home; however, they have had another moment like this in the league against the Blues.
