Wrexham could be just four games away from the Championship, and some are already looking towards the summer transfer window.
Wrexham only drew 0-0 at Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon as Phil Parkinson’s side served up a fairly uninspired performance.
It’s difficult to win games with no shots on target, and that’s what Wrexham produced at the Brick Community Stadium.
Wrexham still sit second in the League One table, but Wycombe Wanderers have closed the gap to just one point.
The next four games will decide Wrexham’s fate and determine whether Parkinson clinches a third straight automatic promotion or whether it’s the chaos of the play-offs for Wrexham.

EFL pundit on Jamie Vardy to Wrexham
Wrexham may already be planning for the summer transfer window by putting together different lists of targets depending on whether promotion is secured or not.
Tom Lawrence has already been linked with Wrexham as the playmaker comes towards the end of his Rangers contract.
The rumour mill hasn’t really started churning just yet, but Jamie Vardy’s name continues to be mentioned in conjunction with Wrexham.
Vardy to Wrexham has never really seemed like a genuine possibility, but more like something that people would love to see.
We can certainly imagine seeing Vardy shining on ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ and Humphrey Ker refused to rule out targeting Vardy a year ago.
Vardy is out of contract at Leicester City this summer, and the striker may well be on the move.
EFL pundit Lee Hendrie has now told Football League World that Vardy to Wrexham would be ‘crazy’ – even if Ker’s comments actually came a year ago rather than now.
Hendrie believes that Vardy can still cause problems in League One as he possesses cleverness and pace, despite now being 38.
The former Aston Villa midfielder added that Vardy could be a good signing for Wrexham on a one-year deal, should he leave Leicester.
“Jamie Vardy, obviously the links and the Wrexham chief, Humphrey Ker, that he would certainly consider taking Vardy next season, which is crazy to think of but he is still capable, I think, of causing so many problems,” said Hendrie.
“It looks like Wrexham are going to stand a really good chance of getting into the Championship. He knows that league. He’s still got that pace and cleverness, and something different that they could certainly use.
“Obviously his age is one thing (to consider), but, for one season, I don’t think it would be a bad signing whatsoever. So that’d be a good thing if that was true, and it’d be welcomed,” he added.
Attacking changes could come for Wrexham
Wrexham signed two strikers in January as Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez arrived.
Smith is Wrexham’s new record signing, whilst Rodriguez certainly won’t be cheap on the wage bill.
Wrexham may still look at other strikers this summer, though, with Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer potentially moving on.
Mullin and Palmer have been frozen out since the end of the January transfer window and may need to move on for first-team football.
Modou Faal has potential but may need a season out on loan to get games under his belt and continue his development.
That could pave the way for another striker to arrive, and Vardy would bring some quality and know-how in the final third.
Wrexham have shown a willingness to sign experienced players, and we can’t completely rule Vardy out, even if his arrival would be something of a surprise given Wrexham’s attempts to bring the squad age down over the last year.
