Wrexham are on the verge of completing their seventh senior signing of the summer.
The 2024/25 League One season is now less than 24 hours away and Phil Parkinson should be delighted with his side’s business so far.
Owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds have backed Wrexham heavily in the transfer market, with six first-team players already through the door.
Arthur Okonkwo returned to Wrexham to kick off the window, joining on a permanent basis after leaving Arsenal on a free transfer.
This was followed by Lewis Brunt arriving at the Racecourse Ground after the Red Dragons fended off interest from several other League One clubs for his signature.
Callum Burton, Sebastian Revan, and George Dobson have also made the move to Wales.
The club’s latest piece of transfer business saw Dann Scarr sign from Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth Argyle.

Wrexham are interested in Bailey Cadamarteri of Sheffield Wednesday and may have been boosted in their pursuit of the player this week.
Ike Ugbo joined the Owls on August 8th, meaning Danny Rohl could be more willing to loan out Cadamarteri now he has another forward on his books.
Elsewhere, Football Insider report that a player is undergoing a medical with Wrexham on Friday ahead of a transfer.
The man in question is former Manchester United academy starlet and current Rotherham United midfielder, Ollie Rathbone.
Rathbone will sign for the newly-promoted team on a permanent basis after Wrexham and Rotherham agreed a deal on Thursday evening.
Who is incoming Wrexham signing Ollie Rathbone
Born in Blackburn, Rathbone began his footballing career in Manchester United’s academy.
The midfielder won Manchester United’s Goal of the Month award in February 2015 after netting a 40-yard screamer against Derby County’s U18 side.
However, the now 27-year-old struggled to break into the Red Devils’ senior side and was released by the club in June 2016.
Rathbone was promptly snapped up by Rochdale in the same month, whom he went on to feature 183 times for.
After impressing with Rochdale, Rotherham signed the Englishman in August 2021 and he has been a key figure for the club since.
Rathbone helped The Millers win the EFL Trophy in 2021/22 – the same season they secured promotion from League One to the Championship.
All told, Rathbone scored eight and assisted nine in 138 matches for Rotherham, largely operating as a central midfielder but also as a number 10 or in a more defensive role on occasion.
