Wrexham have added two new defensive options this summer but Phil Parkinson may still fancy another addition to his back line.
Wrexham had a number of areas to strengthen after securing promotion to League One.
Goalkeeper was a major focus after Arthur Okonkwo’s superb loan spell but Wrexham were able to strike a superb deal to keep him permanently.
Defence simply had to be a priority with centre backs Ben Tozer, Aaron Hayden and Jordan Tunnicliffe all on the released list.
Tozer headed to Forest Green Rovers, Hayden rejoined former club Carlisle United and Tunnicliffe finds himself locked in talks over an administrative error.
Wrexham added a versatile defender earlier in the summer as Lewis Brunt joined from Leicester City before Sebastian Revan signed from Aston Villa.

Wrexham may have Wes Harding chance
Revan is predominantly a left back or left wing back but can still play as a left-sided centre back if needed.
George Evans can drop into the back line if needed and Wrexham do still have the likes of Max Cleworth, Eoghan O’Connell, Will Boyle and Thomas O’Connor.
There may still be scope for another option though with Millwall ace Wes Harding believed to be on the Wrexham wish list.
Reports earlier in July suggested that Wrexham fancied signing Harding but a deal would be on hold until Millwall could make signings of their own.
Links to Wrexham have certainly quietened down of late but Parkinson and co may be encouraged by developments from South London.
Millwall have confirmed the return of centre back Shaun Hutchinson on a free transfer.
The centre back was released at the end of the season but Millwall have struck a deal to bring him back already.
Hutchinson’s return adds some depth to the Millwall ranks and may yet open the door for Wrexham to land Harding.
Harding another versatile option for Wrexham
Wrexham may well try a move for Harding and he would be in keeping with the theme of versatile defensive additions.
We have touched on Revan and Brunt being versatile and Harding would be somewhat similar.
The 27-year-old is a proven Championship performer and has done so across various roles.
Harding featured as a right back or even right wing back at Rotherham United but spent most of his first season with Millwall as a centre back.
Parkinson has clearly valued versatility with Revan and Brunt, so the interest in Harding certainly adds up.
Whether Wrexham have moved on remains to be seen, but Hutchinson’s arrival surely hasn’t gone unnoticed inside the STōK Cae Ras.
