Wrexham could hand a contract to the son of a former Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City star.
The Red Dragons have made a habit of doing transfer business outside of proper windows in recent years.
Back when they were vying for promotion from the National League, Wrexham snapped up Ben Foster on a short-term deal toward the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
Said deal proved a stroke of genius as Foster was excellent during his brief time at the Racecourse Ground, including making a huge penalty save versus Notts County to help Wrexham win promotion into League Two.
Phil Parkinson and co. have also been active in the transfer market over the last month after injuries to George Evans and Jack Marriott weakened their midfield and attack.
Matty James and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson were signed to short-term contracts last month and have both since made their debuts for the club.

Son of Kolo Toure training with Wrexham
Now, Wrexham could hand a contract to the son of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City icon, Kolo Toure.
Toure made 326 appearances throughout his career, winning two Premier League titles and several domestic cup competitions.
The centre-back was one of the best central defenders in the Premier League before eventually retiring in 2017 after a stint at Celtic.
Kolo is now an academy coach at Manchester City while his son, Yassine, is looking to follow in his father’s footsteps.
According to the Daily Mail, the 18-year-old is currently training with Wrexham and is hopeful of securing a contract under Parkinson.

Who is Yassine Toure? The son of Kolo training with Wrexham
Unlike his dad, Yassine is an attacker, largely operating on the right wing.
He began his career with Toure’s final club, Celtic, before moving to Leicester City’s academy in 2019.
Yassine has made 23 appearances for the Foxes’ U18 side, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
The teenager has also represented Ivory Coast at U23 level, playing 13 minutes of an U23/Amateurs-International Friendly against Morocco on October 6th, 2023.
Toure is an exciting attacking prospect but it remains to be seen if Wrexham will hand him a contract in the near future.
