Wrexham have had an active end to the transfer window but another addition could still be made on Monday.
The Red Dragons got their 2025 winter transfer window underway with the addition of Ryan Longman from Hull City.
Longman has slotted seamlessly into the club’s back-five, rivaling Ryan Barnett at right-wing-back and providing an assist to win Wrexham the game versus Crawley Town on Saturday.
After Longman, the Welsh outfit turned their attention toward the centre-forward department.
Sam Smith arrived from Reading in a club-record move, shattering the previous record held by Modou Faal.
Following his capture, Wrexham signed Jay Rodriguez from Championship outfit Burnley on a deal until 2026.

It means the Welsh side now have seven different strikers to pick from for the remainder of the season.
After Smith and Rodriguez signed, it seemed likely Wrexham’s business for the winter window was over.
However, journalist Liam Randall has now shared an interesting update via X/Twitter that will have fans excited.
He wrote: “My day has mostly been focused on the new Kop so far. However, I understand Wrexham’s official line on transfer deadline day is that the club is happy with its business to date, but will make further signings if the right player(s) become available. A case of watch this space.”
What position could Wrexham target on deadline day
While signings are not likely, they are seemingly not out of the question in the final few hours of the window.
Another number nine obviously won’t be joining but there are a couple of positions that could be improved.
A left-back to rival an ageing James McClean who is more proven than Jacob Mendy at this level wouldn’t hurt.
Centre-back could be an area that club look at as well with Dan Scarr struggling and Eogahn O’Connell’s form very patchy of late.
A creative midfielder to compete with Elliot Lee would help their promotion push as well.
