Wrexham fans will be looking for another big summer transfer window as Phil Parkinson prepares for life in the Championship.

Wrexham beat Lincoln City 2-0 on Saturday afternoon, bringing the curtain down on the League One season.

Phil Parkinson had already guaranteed promotion a week earlier, but Wrexham were able to end the season in style.

Wrexham players will now head to Las Vegas for another promotion party, but Parkinson will be looking to prepare for Championship life.

Parkinson avoided transfer talk before facing Lincoln, preferring to get that final game of the season out of the way.

Now with three months of preparations to come, Wrexham will allegedly splash the cash ahead of the new season.

Wrexham back in for Ryan Hardie

Wrexham are likely to be in the market for attacking reinforcements.

Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer could move on and Modou Faal may need a loan move for first-team action.

Wrexham allegedly fancy Cardiff City’s Callum Robinson, but another name emerged in that report from Darren Witcoop.

It’s claimed that Wrexham are back in the hunt for Plymouth Argyle striker Ryan Hardie.

Wrexham were linked with Hardie ahead of the January transfer window, with a £2million release clause rumoured to be in his contract.

Wrexham signed Sam Smith instead, but Witcoop claims Wrexham still fancy Hardie following Argyle’s relegation.

Hardie hit 10 goals in 37 Championship games this season, also chipping in with three assists.

The Scot may fancy a return to the Championship after Argyle’s relegation, and Wrexham could pounce to bolster Parkinson’s attacking options once more.

Ryan Hardie could reunite with Callum Burton and Dan Scarr

Any move for Hardie would see him join a couple of familiar faces at Wrexham.

Callum Burton and Dan Scarr joined Wrexham from Plymouth Argyle last summer and played alongside Hardie down at Home Park.

Burton impressed when he filled in for Arthur Okonkwo, whilst Scarr was an absolute brick wall in the final weeks of the season.

Both players would surely recommend a move to Wrexham if Hardie asked the question, with the duo valued players under Parkinson.

Hardie would be another strong addition to the Wrexham attack, though some may be looking for even higher-profile signings this summer.
