Wrexham are one of many teams who are interested in signing Jack Marriot this January as they look to add attacking reinforcements.
It has been a quiet transfer window for Wrexham so far which has seen them yet to make any new January signings.
There have been many different players linked to Phil Parkinson and his side with attacking options in particular.
In recent weeks there have been exciting suggestions that the Reds could make a move for Macaulay Langstaff from Notts County. Add to this suggestions of Aaron Collins coming in, there are plenty of positive rumours.
These kinds of signings would certainly add some firepower to the Reds as they look to secure League Two promotion.
Now they have been linked to a new signing who would certainly add some useful experience to the squad.

Wrexham in for Jack Marriott
This season has seen the Reds score in plentiful supply which hasn’t stopped links to an experienced striker.
They have scored 54 so far this season, according to FotMob, with Elliot Lee and Paul Mullin scoring ten or more. Besides them, only Ollie Palmer and Steven Fletcher have scored more than five. This sees ten players with two or fewer strikes this campaign.
With that being said, there is no surprise that Parkinson and Co. may be interested in bringing in a striker this winter. Now in a report by Pete O’Rourke, he has suggested a potential January move for Jack Marriott.
On that, he said: “Wrexham are preparing a move for Fleetwood striker Jack Marriott in a permanent deal before the close of the transfer window with Stevenage and Oxford also chasing his services.”
There are plenty of clubs interested in signing the English striker but given his EFL pedigree that is no surprise. According to FotMob, Marriott has over 100 goals in the Football League having scored for six sides.
He is probably best known for his spell with Derby County in the 2018/19 campaign under Frank Lampard. This saw him score an iconic double against Leeds United in the Championship Play Off Semi Final.
Now he plays for Fleetwood Town at 29 years old and so far this season has registered five goals in League One.
Given his pedigree in higher leagues than Wrexham in League Two, he could represent a great piece of business. With him alongside Paul Mullin and swapping in and out with Palmer, Dalby and Fletcher, he would be a great signing.
