Wrexham have completed a 10th signing of the summer after announcing the arrival of defender Callum Doyle from Manchester City.
Wrexham’s summer recruitment had seen nine players arrive at the STōK Cae Ras.
Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds have backed Phil Parkinson handsomely with Ryan Hardie, Danny Ward, Liberato Cacace, George Thomason, Josh Windass, Lewis O’Brien, Conor Coady, Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead arriving.
Broadhead’s arrival set a new Wrexham transfer record last week, arriving from Ipswich Town in a deal worth up to £10million.
Anybody who thought that Wrexham’s spending would end there has been proven wrong, as the arrival of Callum Doyle has now been confirmed.

Wrexham confirm Callum Doyle transfer
Reports earlier in the week suggested that Wrexham were closing in on signing Doyle from Manchester City.
An £8million fee was suggested for the Manchester City talent, who has spent the last four seasons out on loan.
Wrexham have offered Doyle a permanent move and the defender has now penned a four-year contract at the STōK Cae Ras.
This deal won’t have surprised many supporters, as Doyle was spotted in Wrexham training gear earlier on Thursday.
Wrexham have now confirmed Doyle’s arrival, with the defender excited to be joining this project at the STōK Cae Ras.
Doyle told Wrexham’s official website that he is ‘buzzing’ to have joined Wrexham after a series of loan spells away from City.
Doyle even admitted keeping tabs on Wrexham from afar, and he is now ready to play his own part in this journey.
“I’m buzzing to join the Club. I’ve been wanting a permanent move for some time now and I can’t wait to get started,” said Doyle.
“I’ve been interested in the Club from afar and kept a close eye on the journey and now I’m excited to be a part of it,” he added.
Phil Parkinson on Callum Doyle
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson is also a happy man, telling the club’s official website that he is ‘delighted’ to have landed Doyle.
Parkinson feels Doyle is a ‘talented young player’ but brings real Championship experience for his age.
“We’re delighted to welcome Callum to the Club. He’s a talented young player with a lot of Championship experience,” said Parkinson.
“We’re looking forward to him joining up with the squad and working with him,” he added.
Doyle will slot right in as a left-sided defender in Parkinson’s back three, and his significant Championship experience means he should hit the ground running in a Wrexham shirt.
The defender could go straight into the Wrexham squad to face Sheffield Wednesday this weekend, with Parkinson now set to make a decision on his involvement in the coming hours.
