Wrexham are still in the race to sign Aaron Collins from Bristol Rovers as multiple clubs place bids for the forward this week.
There hasn’t been a shortage of transfer links for various positions to Wrexham so far in the January transfer window.
Despite this being the fact, other than Luke McNicholas on a permanent deal, a signing is yet to be made by the Reds.
It has been made clear that Phil Parkinson and Co. are looking to bring in some sort of attacking reinforcements.
This has seen rumours to experienced EFL options like Jack Mariott as well as rival stars like Macaulay Langstaff. These have certainly excited Wrexham fans but right now there have been no incoming movement.
Now there has been a report which has suggested that the Reds are maintaining an interest in a League One star.

Wrexham still interested in Aaron Collins
There have been reports that Wrexham really want to sign an attacking option to partner with Paul Mullin up front.
There has been a shortage of goals coming from the second striker in the squad this campaign. According to FotMob, the Welshman has registered ten goals and three assists in League Two so far.
By comparison, secondary strikers including Steven Fletcher, Sam Dalby and Ollie Palmer have scored just eleven between them.
With that being said, another striker option or somebody who can find the net on a more regular basis would be useful.
Making up for that has been Elliot Lee in midfield who has scored 13 goals and assisted an additional three. It must be said that he hasn’t got a goal involvement in his last seven games.
Now a report from Dan Hargraves has suggested interest in a new attacking option has come which could certainly improve the squad.
On that, he said: “Understand that Charlton Athletic also saw a bid for Aaron Collins rejected last week by Bristol Rovers. Alongside Bolton, the Addicks are firmly in the race while Wrexham still appear to be keen on the forward.”
Compared to the Wrexham striker options, Collins has only registered three goals but does have eight assists this campaign.
He was named League One Player of the Season last season. This came as he accrued 28 goal involvements across 46 games. This is clear evidence of the quality that he possesses in front of goal and providing them.
It is unclear whether or not he would make a move down a division but if he was to do so, it would be a superb piece of business.
