Wrexham couldn’t add another home win to Phil Parkinson’s record on Saturday afternoon, drawing 2-2 at home to Cambridge United on Saturday.
Wrexham are back in League One action on Saturday afternoon and were seeking yet another home win.
Phil Parkinson has racked up 200 home points as Wrexham boss and was looking to add to that tally against Cambridge United.
Garry Monk’s side have been struggling this season but took the lead through Elias Kachunga.
James McClean impressed Wrexham fans with a fine leveller before Steven Fletcher appeared to have given Wrexham the win.
There was a late twist in the tale though as a late penalty handed Cambridge an equaliser through Dan Nlundulu.

Andy Morrell hails ‘infectious’ Wrexham star
Wrexham just weren’t on top form in this one and can’t really complain with Cambridge taking something from the game.
Parkinson watched on as Wrexham dropped points at home for just the second time this season, but this one feels especially frustrating.
Cambridge have been disappointing this season and Wrexham were in a position to win the game before a late blow.
Wrexham’s second goal came from outstanding pressing by Ollie Rathbone, who snatched the ball away from Cambridge defender Kell Watts.
Wrexham fans praised Rathbone for his involvement in the goal as looked like he had been shot out of a cannon before winning the ball back high up the pitch.
That was an inspired moment from Rathbone and he has now been praised by Wrexham hero Andy Morrell.
Morrell has taken to social media to name Rathbone as his Man of the Match against Cambridge, suggesting that his energy is a ‘joke’.
Morrell added that Rathbone’s energy is infectious and had the quality to go along with his hard work, setting up Wrexham’s second goal in the process.
Ollie Rathbone now one of the first names on the teamsheet
Wrexham pounced to sign Rathbone over the summer, luring him away from Rotherham United after their relegation to League One.
Steve Evans claimed that Wrexham paid a ‘significant’ fee for Rathbone but his start to life at the STōK Cae Ras was a little slow.
Rathbone often had to settle for coming off the bench early in the season as he settled into life at Wrexham.
As we approach the halfway stage of the League One season, Rathbone has now become almost undroppable and one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Rathbone offers so much energy in the engine room and is making an impact in the final third with two goals and one assist in his last five games.
Parkinson appears to have struck gold with Rathbone and he will certainly play a big role in any Wrexham success this season.
