Wrexham sit second in the League One table after picking up another home win, beating Lincoln City on Tuesday night.
Wrexham beat Exeter City 3-0 on Saturday afternoon and were looking for another home victory on Tuesday.
Lincoln City were the visitors with boss Michael Skubala anticipating a lively atmosphere at the STōK Cae Ras.
Wrexham had to really battle and grind out a win here with the crucial goal coming in somewhat fortuitous circumstances.
Tendayi Darikwa inadvertently turned James McClean’s cross into this own net, handing Wrexham a 1-0 victory.
Two home wins in a matter of days without even conceding a goal will certainly delight Phil Parkinson, with Wrexham remaining in second place.

Lewis Brunt earns Wrexham hero’s praise
Parkinson went with the same side which beat Exeter on Saturday, meaning it was something of a 3-5-1-1 formation.
Matty James impressed Parkinson with his display whilst Ollie Rathbone turned in another strong performance.
Lewis Brunt kept his place in the team too and certainly justified Parkinson’s faith in him.
Brunt made a brilliant last-ditch challenge to deny Lincoln striker Jovon Makama as he carved out a chance to equalise.
Brunt also did enough to force Rob Street into driving a shot wide of the post as Wrexham held on.
The summer signing from Leicester City impressed on Saturday too and has now been praised by Wrexham hero Andy Morrell.
Morrell has taken to social media to hail Brunt as ‘exceptional’ for his performance against Lincoln.
The former Wrexham striker felt that Brunt won so much in the air and made some brilliant blocks at the back.
Wrexham summer hijack now paying off
Brunt has been forced to be patient at Wrexham.
The defender was in demand over the summer with Mansfield Town making Brunt their number one target after a strong loan spell from Leicester.
Peterborough United also wanted Brunt but Wrexham won the race having blown both clubs out of the water financially.
Stags boss Nigel Clough admitted he couldn’t compete with Wrexham in terms of money and it was a similar story from Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony.
Wrexham managed to hijack Mansfield’s move and sign Brunt but he struggled for first-team action and wasn’t even on the bench for some League One games.
The 24-year-old started his first League One game on Saturday, took his chance and backed it up with another strong performance.
Parkinson just can’t drop Brunt right now and Wrexham defenders have a hard task taking his place in the back line.
