Wrexham made it two home wins in a matter of days by beating Lincoln City 1-0 at the STōK Cae Ras on Tuesday night.
Phil Parkinson saw his Wrexham side pick up a big 3-0 home win over Exeter City on Saturday.
This was a crucial win for Wrexham as a bounce-back victory from the Stockport County defeat.
Backing it up against Lincoln City was always going to be a tough task with the Imps going well in League One this season.
The game was as tight as expected and it took a rather fortuitous moment to settle the game with Tendayi Darikwa converting James McClean’s cross for an own goal.
Wrexham held on for the 1-0 win and remain second in the League One table, four points behind leaders Wycombe Wanderers.

Phil Parkinson on Matty James
Wrexham needed to hit back after losing to Stockport and Parkinson will be pleased with two home wins and two clean sheets.
Parkinson stuck with the 3-5-1-1 setup from Saturday’s win over Exeter City with Matty James starting once again.
James joined Wrexham in October, arriving as a free agent having been released by Bristol City over the summer.
James has been praised as ‘unbelievable’ by Ollie Palmer and impressed once again on Tuesday night.
Speaking on Wrexham Match Day Live on Wrexham’s official YouTube channel, Parkinson praised James for his display.
Parkinson admitted that he had a ‘sleepless night’ as he pondered whether to start James again or leave him on the bench.
Parkinson was just so impressed with how James controlled the middle of the park, justifying the decision to start him again.
“Matty James… I had a bit of a sleepless night really, to decide whether to go with him again just because he played so well on Saturday but he hasn’t played a lot of football.
“He said he felt fine and I was going to bring him off on 55, 60, but he was playing so well, controlling the game for us. In the end, we brought him off and Cannon slotted in on the right and Dobbo moved into the centre,” he added.
Parkisnon added on Wrexham’s official YouTube channel that James was ‘outstanding’ having turned in a ‘huge performance.

Parkinson comments sum up James’ rising importance
James only signed a deal until January but is really making himself impossible to ignore.
The 33-year-old has spent most of his career in the Championship and, when at his best, he is simply too good for League One.
Yes, the former Manchester United talent is heading towards the end of his career but his class has been clear.
Parkinson’s comments sum it up; he was tempted to leave James on the bench or take him off early against Lincoln.
James was simply too good to leave out though and Parkinson understood his importance to the cause.
Leeds United wanted James before his Wrexham deal but Parkinson will be delighted to have secured his signature – and will hope to keep him for a little longer yet.
