Lincoln v Wrexham score predictions
Josh Barker – Lincoln 1-2 Wrexham
Wrexham don’t have anything left to play for in the final game of their season, so I’m expecting a much-changed side from Phil Parkinson.
Jay Rodriguez has been playing with an injury recently, so he’ll probably drop out of the team and potentially open the door for the likes of Paul Mullin or Ollie Palmer to return.
I still think it’ll be Wrexham who come out on top, but I predict a scrappy game with neither side really at their best, as you would expect in a dead-rubber fixture.
George Light – Lincoln 1-2 Wrexham
The football that Wrexham have played in the last two encounters has been sensational and they really have saved their best for when it matters.
Now the pressure is off, I would love to see them continue to play with that freedom and creativity, albeit with a few sentimental chances.
Parkinson cannot leave out Mullin and Palmer can he? There are also the likes of Jacob Mendy and George Evans that deserve a proper send off from the club if it proves to be their final outing.
I’m going for the fairy tale ending in Mullin scoring a late winner to seal three points and push the Red Dragons over the 90 point mark for the season – an incredible achievement.
