As Wrexham notched a historic first Championship win of the 2025/26 Championship season, Kieffer Moore shone despite a mixed bag of Red Dragons performers.
It was a rather spiritless performance in the early knockings for Wrexham, with Phil Parkinson’s side struggling to take the game by the scruff of the neck.
Wrexham were up against the cosh after the pressure put on them by Millwall, but they managed to keep a clean sheet in the first half.
The Red Dragons looked equally slow in the early stages of the second half, but they had a breakthrough through Kieffer Moore, who managed to turn the ball into the Millwall net, whilst taking a bash from Steven Benda in the process.
Things got nervy for Wrexham as they sat back and soaked up the pressure they were placed under by Millwall, but Parkinson’s side managed to hang on to an incredible win on the road, with the help of a last-minute goal by Lewis O’Brien.
Following the win, here is how we rated each individual…

Danny Ward
Had little to do in the first half after a lack of chances for either side, but still managed to command his box. 8
Conor Coady
A top defensive display early on, and was able to get his side out of trouble with last-ditch clearances. 7
Max Cleworth
Brilliant ball in for Kieffer Moore to set up his goal. 8
Callum Doyle
Lost possession a few times and did not look too assured in possession. Did occasionally link up well with Liberato Cacace. 6

Ryan Longman
Did not provide too much defensive assurance, leaving Wrexham vulnerable on the right flank. 5
Liberato Cacace
Unable to create many chances to run down the wing, notching very few dribbles in the contest. 6
Matty James
Denied Millwall’s breakaway with a well-timed tackle. Got stuck in and did well to break up play. Composed on the ball and gave the Wrexham defence extra cover when up against the cosh. 7

George Dobson
He was tough-tackling and strong in the centre of the park. Created very few attacking chances but helped Wrexham tick when in possession, playing many short passes. 6
Lewis O’Brien
Played some ambitious forward balls, with a handful causing problems for the Millwall defence. Sealed the win with a phenomenal chipped finish. 8
Ryan Hardie
Anonymous at times, although the service he received was very minimal. 4

Kieffer Moore
Struggled to make an impact and felt isolated up front. Responded brilliantly in the second half by putting his body on the line and netting a goal to put Wrexham in front. 8
Substitutes
Sam Smith 6, Lewis Brunt 6, James McClean 7, Dan Scarr 6, Arthur Okonkwo 7.
