Wrexham picked up another huge win on Saturday afternoon, as Phil Parkinson’s side beat Exeter City 2-0 at St James Park.
The end of the season is now in sight, and Wrexham fans are experiencing yet another charge for promotion.
Phil Parkinson has guided Wrexham to back-to-back promotions from the National League to League One, but is now chasing another.
Wrexham beat Exeter City 2-0 on Saturday afternoon, with Ollie Rathbone and Jay Rodriguez finding the net.
It’s still a situation of status quo at the top of League One; Birmingham City remain clear at the top and Wrexham are still just three points clear of Wycombe Wanderers.
Wycombe have a game in hand on Wrexham too, so this promotion race still has a few more twists and turns to come.

Exeter City boss blown away by Wrexham substitution
All Wrexham can do is keep winning – and Parkinson is making sure that happens.
Rathbone has praised the mentality at Wrexham, highlighting that the habit of winning is playing a key role in another promotion push.
The quality at Parkinson’s disposal is enormous, and that was on show once again on Saturday afternoon.
Goalscorer Rodriguez partnered Sam Smith in attack once again with Steven Fletcher and Jack Marriott named on the bench.
Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer were left out once again, and Wrexham were able to grab the victory without even calling on Marriott from the bench.
Fletcher did come on, though, and Exeter boss Gary Caldwell was impressed with the depth Parkinson can call upon.
Speaking on Exeter’s official YouTube channel, Caldwell praised Wrexham for doing ‘simple things’ really well against Exeter, showcasing promotion credentials in the process.
Caldwell added that Wrexham have proven players who can get the job done in League One and above, such as Steven Fletcher.
Caldwell and Fletcher previously played together, and the Grecians boss hailed him for a ‘fantastic’ career, believing that his introduction from the bench summed up the level of Parkinson’s squad.
“You can see why they’re up there, because they do simple things really well, they have a group of men on the pitch that know what it takes at this level – and probably levels in their carer – they bring on Steven Fletcher, who I played with many, many years ago, and he’s had a fantastic career,” said Caldwell.
“It shows the level of the team, but I thought we were in the game for large parts of the game,” he added.
Steven Fletcher off the bench as impressed other managers
Caldwell is not the first manager to be impressed by Fletcher coming off the bench – and surely won’t be the last either.
Kevin Nolan praised Fletcher’s introduction in February as Wrexham beat Northampton Town 2-0 away from home.
Nolan’s Cobblers predecessor Jon Brady praised Wrexham’s attacking changes earlier this season as Fletcher came off the bench.
Many League One managers would love to have Fletcher in their starting lineups, never mind coming off the bench.
Parkinson has that luxury, and with Fletcher scoring key goals off the bench over the course of the season, few can really argue with the Wrexham boss and his thought process.
