Sheffield Wednesday fans protest Dejphon Chansiri during Wrexham game

Sheffield Wednesday are in a dire situation right now. Players aren’t being paid on time, and owner Chansiri is in a rut, and Owls fans have long been protesting that the Thai businessman sells up and leaves, but he remains.

This season, and during the game against Wrexham, Sheffield Wednesday fans let their feelings known. Going into the game, though, it was revealed that Wrexham said Sheffield Wednesday fans couldn’t hang their banners inside the stadium.

But the Dragons U-turned on that decision and then Rob Mac got involved. The Hollywood actor urged Wrexham supporters to buy and wear the black and gold away kit from last season at the game, then saying that the profits made from the sales would be donated to the Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust.
