Wrexham are back in Championship action against Norwich City this weekend, and their chances of victory have been decided.

The Red Dragons go into the match on the back of a disappointing 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Queens Park Rangers last time out.

The pressure is on Phil Parkinson to start winning games consistently after the club held talks over his future.

But they face another tough test in Norwich City this weekend, with Tony Pulis predicting Wrexham to lose already.

Now, Opta’s supercomputer has decided the most likely outcome of the match.

The Dragons are 21st in the second tier ahead of gameweek six, and could slip into the relegation zone if they don’t win this weekend.

Norwich have had a mixed start to the campaign, but two wins and one draw from five leave them 10th in the table.

Now, Opta has predicted the likelihood of Wrexham winning on Saturday, and it’s not good news.

The Dragons are given just a 27.0% chance of securing three points at Carrow Road this weekend.

Norwich are clear favourites for the win, with a 46.5% chance of seeing off the Welsh side.

Norwich City vs Wrexham head-to-head

Saturday’s meeting will be the 11th between these two sides.

Norwich have a clear edge over Wrexham throughout history, winning eight of their meetings.

The Dragons have won just one of their previous clashes, a 2-1 FA Cup win all the way back in January 1970.

The last game between Wrexham and Norwich took place in February 1982 and saw the latter come away with a comfortable 4-0 win.
