Wrexham were 2-0 up against Sheffield Wednesday but were forced to settle for a draw on the day.
The Red Dragons’ search for a first win in the second tier since 1982 goes on.
Kieffer Moore impressed in the first half of the clash, scoring two goals to put the home side in cruise control and seemingly heading for their first league victory of 2025/26.
However, the Welsh outfit lost control of the fixture in the second half, and when all was said and done, Wrexham drew 2-2 with Sheffield Wednesday.

Wrexham dressing room message vs Sheffield Wednesday
Wrexham fans are not happy with Phil Parkinson following their side conceding two goals.
Sheffield Wednesday were also winless going into the weekend’s fixture and have lost plenty of key players over the summer.
It was a great chance for the Dragons to win, but they were unable to maintain the same level of performance they showed in the opening 45.
Moore, speaking post-match, shared what the message was in the dressing room after going 2-0 up.
Asked what the message in the dressing room was at half-time, he said: “It was just to keep at it. It was just, not take our foot off the pedal. It’s just one of them that we know every team that goes 2-0 down is always going to have a reaction.
“It’s what reaction can we give that reaction, and I felt we didn’t really justify that. For the result to be 2-2 in the end, it is disappointing.”
Phil Parkinson comments on Wrexham defeat
Parkinson has also shared his verdict on the 2-2 draw.
The Wrexham boss was pleased with how his team started but praised Sheffield Wednesday for their display in the second 45, as per BBC Sport.
He said: “We were terrific to start but credit to Sheffield Wednesday for the way they responded, but we never got a grip of the ball, gave it away too cheaply and put ourselves under pressure.
“At the end, players were out on their feet because we were stretched and didn’t retain possession – and at this level if you give the ball away you get punished.
“We are showing we can compete but we have to find a way to sustain performances right through the game.”
