Wrexham’s toughest and biggest game of the season is coming up as Birmingham City head to the Racecourse Ground for a potential title decider.
It’s being billed as the Hollywood derby, as Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham go up against League One leaders and Tom Brady-owned Birmingham in a game that will hugely influence the way the table looks come May.
We can’t wait to watch Wrexham vs Birmingham, mainly because two very good Football League sides will do battle, but also because the celebrity hype around the game is very entertaining indeed.
But, if Tom Brady is planning on heading to Wales to watch the match in person, he will be in for a tough crowd, as the Wrexham fans are sure to try and humble the global superstar.

Wrexham fans pelted Tom Brady with abuse at St. Andrews back in September
The last time these two teams met, Birmingham secured a 3-1 win at St. Andrews in September. They’ve since gone on to dominate League One and look odds-on to win the title.
While Phil Parkinson will be getting his players ready to change that tonight, it is the Wrexham fans who could be key to the way things play out.
One thing’s for sure, if the Wrexham supporters give Tom Brady and Birmingham a similar reception to how they behaved at St. Andrews, it’ll be very fun to watch.
Back in September, as Brady made his away around the pitch, the travelling Red Dragons support yelled “Who the f***ing hell are you?” repeatedly at him, among other insults and abuse.
Thankfully, Brady responded in good spirits, showing his appreciation for the away fans for making it “one of the best stadium atmospheres I’ve ever been a part of” and adding that he couldn’t wait for the reverse fixture.

Crowd reception will be far more hostile at the SToK Cae Ras
If Brady enjoyed the reaction he got at St. Andrews from the Wrexham fans, he is going to absolutely love the atmosphere he will enter if he turns up at the Racecourse Ground.
It will be a very difficult game for both teams, and the fans for both sides will be desperate to come away from this one as the happier supporters, and that passion is sure to spill over onto the pitch and to the clubs’ respective owners.
Indeed, even Ryan Reynolds admitted he would love to beat Brady, as their affectionate rivalry continues. But, make no mistake, there will be no love on the night, and Brady will need to wear his thickest skin for this one.
It is also set to be a record-breaking fixture away from Wales, with huge immersive screens displaying the game in the US. With millions of sets of eyes on this game, let’s hope the Wrexham players deal with the pressure better than their counterparts and get the win.
