Wrexham and Birmingham City played out a 1-1 draw at the Racecourse Ground on Friday evening.
The first half belonged to the home side, with Wrexham fans praising George Dobson for his performance.
The midfielder opened the scoring after heading home following a Max Cleworth effort.
It was a frustrating second half for the Dragons, however, as Birmingham City equalised after just 20 seconds.
The Midlands outfit were much-improved and looked more likely to add a second late on.
When all was said and done, Wrexham and Birmingham drew 1-1, which was probably a fair result but still felt somewhat disappointing.

Wrexham legend gives Birmingham City verdict
Wrexham legend Wayne Phillips covered the fixture for BBC Sport on the night.
Following the result, Phillips suggested that neither side deserved the victory.
He stated: “Over the 90 minutes I don’t think either team deserved to win it.
“Wrexham were very good in the first half, maybe they should’ve got a second goal, but Birmingham came out the blocks racing in the second half.”
He went on to highlight the fact Wrexham are still yet to win a home Championship game this season.
The ex-player stated: “Wrexham didn’t ask many questions of the goalkeeper in the second half, but it’s four games unbeaten so there can’t be too many complaints.
“Phil Parkinson is still looking for that first home league win of the season which will be huge when it happens.”
Birmingham City view on Wrexham draw
Unlike last season, Birmingham are not the most dominant team in the division and have been struggling on the road.
As a result, the view coming out of the Midlands seems to be that it was a decent result.
Ex-Blue Darren Carter said: “I think it’s a fair result on reflection. The game swung throughout.
“Blues were better in the second half and the goal gave them confidence. Wrexham came back into it but Blues finished strong.
“After the week they [Birmingham] had, there was a bit of pressure on to get a result so they’ll take a point.
“James Beadle had a good game, he looked assured but there was nothing he could have done about the goal. That will do his confidence good. A solid game from him between the sticks.”
