Wrexham face off with Crawley Town in a League One clash on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Dragons welcome Crawley Town to the Racecourse Ground for a League One fixture on September 21st.

Phil Parkinson will be keen to see his side return to winning ways this weekend after they suffered their first defeat of the season last time out.

Jack Marriott opened the scoring after three minutes on Monday but Wrexham lost 3-1 to Birmingham City earlier this week.

Despite the defeat, the Welsh outfit still remain joint top of the third division on 13 points along with the Tom Brady-owned club.

Their focus will now shift toward Saturday’s clash with a Crawley side who have accumulated seven points from five games so far.

Wrexham team news ahead of Crawley Town

Despite having already played six league matches this term, Parkinson is managing his squad’s fitness well.

Paul Mullin has returned to the fold after missing the start of the season due to injury and at present, only one Wrexham man is expected to miss the weekend’s game.

Parkinson provided an injury update on Luke Bolton, confirming he will be out for a couple of weeks.

He said: “Luke has got a problem with his foot which is going to keep him out for a couple of weeks.”

Bolton has not been an integral part of Wrexham’s side this season so his absence, while unfortunate, is not too much of a blow going into Saturday’s match.

Wrexham predicted XI vs Crawley Town

After suffering his first league defeat of the season, Parkinson could now make a couple of changes to his Wrexham line-up.

One player who would no doubt boost the Dragons’ performance this weekend is Sebastian Revan.

The wing-back has found game time hard to come by since his summer transfer but has shone in his limited outings to date.

Revan has impressed Parkinson with his versatility, able to operate at both left-wing-back and on the right of a back-three/five.

The Wrexham boss called Revan ‘special’ after their cup win over Salford City and he should now come into the team ahead of Ryan Barnett.

Further forward, though Marriott scored once more over the weekend, star striker Paul Mullin is now likely to return to the starting line-up for the first time in League One this season.
