Fresh off the back of a dramatic win in the league this weekend, Wrexham will be looking to make progress in the EFL Trophy when they face Port Vale in midweek.
A hectic February full of away games continues for Wrexham this week with a trip to League Two outfit Port Vale in the rescheduled EFL Trophy clash.
Phil Parkinson goes into the game having just seen his team secure an important, last-gasp win over Crawley Town in the league to keep up their promotion push.
The Wrexham manager made big changes to his team for the Crawley game, so will he stick with that winning formula in the cup, or make adjustments once more?

Wrexham team and injury news ahead of EFL Trophy tie
Wrexham actually have very few injuries to worry about ahead of this game, with no fresh concerns emerging from the win over Crawley Town.
Goalkeeper Callum Burton remains out for the foreseeable future, while both Luke Bolton and Will Boyle are unlikely to be fit again for a while.
The good news is, Lewis Brunt is back in action and put in a great display against Crawley to mark his return.

Wrexham predicted XI vs Port Vale will see fringe players given a chance
We expect Parkinson to keep faith in his favoured 3-5-2 formation for the upcoming game, and we also assume he will stick with Mark Howard in goal after dropping Arthur Okonkwo at the weekend.
At the back, both Lewis Brunt and Eoghan O’Connell should start again, with the former needing to build up match sharpness. However, Max Cleworth has surely earned a rest, and Dan Scarr could be given another chance in the team.

It’s in midfield that we expect most of the changes. Ryan Longman should come in for Ryan Barnett on the right, while skipper James McClean could be rested after a hectic couple of weeks, with Jacob Mendy stepping in on the left.
Before the Port Vale game was rescheduled, Parkinson hinted both George Evans and George Dobson would feature. The latter has already worked his way into the team of late, and we assume Evans will now get his time to shine, too.
Ollie Rathbone may be retained in the starting lineup as Parkinson looks for some cohesion between midfield and attack. Meanwhile up top, new boys Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez are likely to get another chance to show what they can do together.
