Wrexham return to home action in League One on Saturday with the visit of Exeter City, looking to bounce back from defeat against Stockport County.
Wrexham lost 1-0 to Stockport at Edgeley Park, thanks to a tremendous strike from Louie Barry. The loss made no impact on Wrexham’s league position as they retained third position, but missed out on an opportunity to climb into the automatic promotion places.
Phil Parkinson praised Callum Burton after the backup goalkeeper deputised well for the injured Arthur Okonkwo, but the Red Dragons’ strikeforce was once again unable to impact proceedings.
Surprisingly, Paul Mullin was dropped against Stockport but may return as Parkinson sets his sights on Exeter’s visit to the Racecourse Ground.

Wrexham Team News
Parkinson shared an underwhelming update regarding the fitness of his Wrexham squad when speaking to the media on Thursday.
Steven Fletcher is nearing a return from injury, whilst George Evans and James Jones will be monitored in the coming weeks regarding their return to action.
Parkinson will also be concerned about yellow cards, with James McClean and George Dobson nearing suspension having received four cautions this season.
Wrexham will continue to be without key men Okonkwo and Jack Marriott, who have suffered longer-term injuries.

Prediction
Wrexham’s remarkable home record this season should lead to this being a more comfortable match than the Stockport defeat. However, Gary Caldwell’s Exeter are performing above expectations in ninth so cannot be overlooked.
If Parkinson can find a way to reignite the Red Dragons’ struggling forward line, their solid defence should be enough to secure all three points. We’ll go for a 1-0 Wrexham win.
- Prediction: Wrexham 1-0 Exeter City
