Wrexham picked up a much-needed win in the Championship on Saturday, winning 2-0 away at Millwall.
The Den is one of the hardest stadiums for any team to go to. But Wrexham made light work of Millwall on Saturday afternoon as Phil Parkinson’s side cruised to three points.
Kieffer Moore and Lewis O’Brien were both on target in the second half as Wrexham beat Millwall 2-0 in the Championship.
It leaves Parkinson’s side with four points from their opening four games of the season, with Wrexham now sitting in 15th place of the Championship table ahead of the international break coming up next.

Wrexham break staggering second division record after Millwall win
Wrexham now have two weeks to recuperate and look back on their start to the 2025-26 season. On September 13th, Wrexham are back at the Racecourse where they host QPR in what could be another winnable fixture for the Dragons.
Incredibly, their win against Millwall on Saturday was actually their first win in the second tier since they were last playing in the second tier of English football during the 1981-82 season. In fact, that win at Millwall ends a run of 15,814 days since Wrexham last won a game of football in the English second tier.
The last game they won in the division was on the final day of that 1981-82 season, beating Rotherham United 3-2 on home soil.

Wrexham’s next five fixtures in the Championship
As ever in the Championship, no game is easy, and Wrexham’s next five games throw up some really difficult ones including a game against Tom Brady’s Birmingham City.
After the break, Wrexham return to action against QPR at the Racecourse, before hosting Reading who have just signed Jack Marriott from Wrexham, in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Then, the Dragons travel to Norwich City before hosting Derby County in North Wales, and at the end of September, Wrexham travel to promotion-chasing Leicester City before welcoming Birmingham City to the Racecourse.
For Parkinson, he’ll be aiming to pick up one or two wins at least from the next five games, and if he can do that, Wrexham should start to build a nice gap between themselves and the relegation zone.
