Wrexham will want to ensure the three points remain in Wales when they host a struggling Cambridge United on Saturday.
It’s been a fantastic start to the 2024/25 season for Wrexham, with four wins and four clean sheets secured from their last four League One outings.
Next up for Phil Parkinson and co. is a home clash against a Cambridge United side currently flirting with the relegation zone.
The U’s are sat 22nd in the third tier after winning just four of their first 18 matches of 2024/25.
Wrexham can match a long-standing record against Cambridge if they manage to do one thing.
And though Parkinson’s men should be favourites for the clash, the Cambridgeshire outfit cannot be underestimated as they hammered Shrewsbury Town 4-1 last time out and have only lost one in five.

BBC pundit makes Wrexham vs Cambridge United score prediction
Wrexham are yet to lose at home in 2024/25, however, only failing to win when they took on fellow promotion rivals Huddersfield Town in October.
The Welsh side also have by far and away the best defence in League One right now, with just 11 shipped,
As a result, it is not surprising to see the home side being backed for a heavy win on Saturday.
Callum Davis, who works for BBC Radio Lincolnshire, previewed the game on the League One Lowdown podcast.
When doing so, Davis spoke about Wrexham’s lack of goals compared to their rivals, dubbing it ‘weird’ before going on to predict a 3-0 win for the Red Dragons.
He said: “What’s striking to me is just how few goals Wrexham have scored compared to Wycombe.
“You’ve got top of the league 39 goals, Wrexham have got 28, which is the same as Huddersfield but I don’t know, it’s weird to me to see the difference in goals scored considering they’re on the same points, it’s two completely different styles of playing football, isn’t it?
“For me, I can’t see past a Wrexham win, I’m going to go 3-0 I think.”

The pair have since gone head-to-head a further 37 times throughout history, with the Red Dragons dominating the fixture.
Cambridge have picked up 12 wins, Wrexham have won 16 and the remaining nine matches ended in draws.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams since an FA Cup tie in November 2011, which the Welsh outfit won 2-1.
