Wrexham’s incredible defensive record under Phil Parkinson in 2024/25

Although Wrexham have conceded in their last two games now, they retain a brilliant defensive record this season, only bettered by runaway winners Birmingham City.

And goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo is only one clean sheet behind Blues shot-stopper Ryan Allsop, with 16 to his name compared to Allsop’s 17. Wrexham as a team have kept the most clean sheets in the league with 22.

Should Wrexham earn promotion then they’d obviously need to retain a strong defence. Although vast improvements would be needed to cope with a brand new level of attacking strength in the second tier.
