Wrexham hammered Northampton Town earlier this season and the Cobblers are now set for a change in the dugout.
Phil Parkinson has turned the STōK Cae Ras into a fortress with Wrexham continuing to rack up the wins at home.
Tuesday’s 1-0 win over Barnsley was a dramatic affair as Ollie Rathbone popped up with a late winner to secure all three points.
That is now nine wins from 10 at home in League One this season with just two points dropped.
This home form could provide the backbone for a promotion-winning campaign but there is a long, long way to go for Wrexham.

Wrexham-born boss in contention for League One job
One of the teams to fall at the STōK Cae Ras this season is Northampton Town.
The Cobblers came to North Wales in October and ended up losing 4-1 as Ryan Barnett ran riot, setting up all four goals one way or another.
Jon Brady was blown away by Wrexham’s ‘top players’ as Northampton just couldn’t cope on the day.
Brady won just two of the next nine League One games and has now decided to resign from his position as Northampton boss.
The search for Brady’s successor is now on and a familiar name to Wrexham fans may be in the mix.
Football Insider claim that Robbie Savage is in contention to replace Brady in a potential stunning move.
Wrexham-born Savage is currently managing Macclesfield Town in non-league but could be in line for a League One job.
Savage never turned out for Wrexham but was a local success story having played for Brickfield Rangers and Lex XI as a kid.
A move to Northampton would see Savage pit his wits against Parkinson and Wrexham when the two sides meet on February 15, 2025.
Robbie Savage wanted to invest in Wrexham
Long before Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds arrived at the STōK Cae Ras, Wrexham had encountered some financial difficulties.
Speaking way back in July 2011, Savage admitted his interest in being part of a consortium to buy the club.
Savage noted that he didn’t have the money for a full takeover himself, but would be willing to team up with investors to buy the club.
“I don’t know the ins and outs but if Wrexham were to go out of business it would be so wrong,” said Savage whilst speaking to BBC Sport.
“It’s a fantastic club for someone to take over,” said Savage. “If I had the money I would. But I haven’t got the money. Running a football club or being involved in a football club is very, very hard.
“I don’t know how much Wrexham would cost to take over. I’d be willing to put money into it if there was 100 people who had £10,000, £20,000. I’d be one of them people who’d do it. But there’s not many of them people out there.
”I couldn’t afford to put a huge amount of money to run a football club but I’d be willing to form a syndicate with somebody to try and help them out.
“If there’s [a] rich businessman in the north Wales area who would be willing to put something to me then I’d like to get involved to help save the team I supported as a boy,” he added.
Savage opened up on his love for Wrexham there but could never have expected two Hollywood stars to roll in and change the club’s trajectory.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds paid £2million for Wrexham in 2021 and the club’s success on and off the pitch has only gone from strength to strength.
Savage even told Wales Online in 2007 that he would love to manage Wrexham one day, such is his love for the club.
The former Wales star may instead manage against Wrexham before the season is over as Northampton eye a bold move.
