Wrexham-linked Christian Eriksen is yet to find his next destination, and in the meantime, he has been put under scrutiny by a former Denmark player.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has made significant changes to his squad this summer, bringing in 14 new faces to the Racecourse Ground.
With the help of Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, the Red Dragons are well-equipped for the Championship season, having brought in many proven talents during the transfer window.
Rob and Ryan showed their ambition throughout the transfer window, which included Wrexham sounding out Christian Eriksen as an option, as was confirmed by his agent.
As the Danish legend, formerly of Man United and Tottenham Hotspur, still awaits to make his decision, he has received criticism from a former player.

Thomas Gravesen slams Wrexham target Christian Eriksen
Christian Eriksen is currently training with Swedish side Malmo as he awaits his next club.
Parkinson spoke with Eriksen this summer about a potential move to the Racecourse Ground, however the Dane is keen to aim higher with his pursuit for a new club for the 2025/26 season.
The former Man United and Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder would not have been short of options, but is yet to make up his mind. This has come under scrutiny by former Denmark player Thomas Gravesen, who also played for Real Madrid, Everton and Celtic.
Speaking to Danish outlet Fotboll Skanalen, Gravesen said: “It is incomprehensible to me that he chooses Malmo. It is not a club that he can go to because he cannot sign a contract with them and we have some clubs in Denmark that are much, much better than Malmo.
“This looks like a friendly thing, where Christian Eriksen is over and having fun with some friends. Where is the ambition to play football?
“We talk about him being without a club for three months, but he has been without a club since January because he has been able to sign a contract with a new club ever since. He has been dragging his feet on it for a long time.
“If he wants to play for the national team, what signal does this send? What signal does going up and having fun with friends in Malmo send?
“I don’t understand it. It seems frivolous in some ways. If he had ambitions, he would have gone to a higher-level club.
“For me, it is not ambitious enough to go to Malmo and have fun. Who sees him there?”

Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac could offer Christian Eriksen a second chance at Wrexham
Christian Eriksen has been advised to go to a club with ‘ambitions’, and that could lead to Wrexham.
Despite the initial difficulties for Wrexham in their optimistic swoop for Eriksen, there is no doubt that Red Dragons boss Phil Parkinson would be keen to add him to his squad, with Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac happy to facilitate.
The longer that Eriksen waits for his next club, the stronger position that Wrexham could find themselves in.
The Dane may need to drop his requirements sooner rather than later, and Rob and Ryan will be looking to swoop in and attain the Premier League legend.
