Wrexham’s busy summer of transfer activity went right to the wire on deadline day with three acquisitions being completed.
Ben Sheaf will be crucial to Wrexham’s promotion bid after the midfielder joined from Coventry City in a £6.5m deal.
Phil Parkinson also bolstered his defence with the loan signing of Issa Kabore and Wrexham left it late to sign Dominic Hyam from Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers.
Although the window has closed, Wrexham signed goalkeeper Reuben Egan on a free transfer following his release from Tranmere Rovers and another free agent the club have been interested in has just started training with a Europa League side.

Wrexham transfer target Christian Eriksen training with Malmo
According to Manchester World, Wrexham transfer target Christian Eriksen is currently training with Swedish side Malmo.
Parkinson spoke with Eriksen this summer about a potential move to the Red Dragons but the former Manchester United star was still looking to play at the very highest level following his release.
Malmo have already registered their squad for the Europa League and the report claims that the club are unlikely to be sign a player on such high wages if he cannot contribute to their European campaign.
Parkinson has to exclude four players from his 25-man Championship squad given the amount of players he still has on the books.
It is therefore unlikely that Wrexham will resurrect any interest in Eriksen given that both factors are still in play that prevented an earlier move for the Dane.
Wrexham have a habit of signing free agents after the transfer deadline
Should a move for Eriksen materialise it would be a huge shock, however, the Red Dragons are prone to signing a surprise free agent after the transfer deadline.
Steven Fletcher was signed on a free back in September 2023 when the club were in League Two and last season Matty James was a notable addition in October 2024.

James arrived on a free transfer at the same time as Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, so whilst a move for Eriksen is not on the cards right now, never say never with Parkinson and Wrexham.
A player of Eriksen’s experience and calibre would fit perfectly into Wrexham’s squad and the club have already shown they are willing to show ambition financially.
