After a short time at Wrexham, Conor Coady has already noted the brilliant impact that the Red Dragons’ faithful have made at the club.
Wrexham’s Championship campaign continues this weekend, and they will face off against QPR in the hope of notching a second league win.
After Wrexham beat Millwall last time out, optimism is high at the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham have been predicted to beat QPR this weekend, who have undergone their own challenges this season, including a 7-1 smashing by Frank Lampard’s Coventry City.
Speaking ahead of the game, Conor Coady has touched on the difficulty of the international break, but also the impact that the fanbase can make.

Conor Coady praises the Wrexham fanbase ahead of QPR clash
Wrexham defender Conor Coady has been full of praise for the supporters ahead of this weekend’s home tie against QPR.
Coady has only played two games on the Racecourse Ground turf during his short stay at Wrexham so far, but has already been mesmerised.
Via Leader Live, Coady spoke about how the supporters ‘deserve’ a first home Championship win, and the welcoming of QPR is a brilliant opportunity to claim that.
“It (a first home league win) is what these supporters deserve,” said Coady to the press. “These supporters have been outstanding over the last few years in terms of going through the leagues the way this club have – they have been a huge part of it.”
“We need to make sure now that we give them that win that they are craving.
“We played really well against Millwall and scored two fantastic goals. We need to make sure we bring that here.”

Wrexham must gain momentum before challenging Championship run
Wrexham are considered to be the favourites this weekend against QPR, and they must make that count in order to build momentum before they face inevitable challenges.
Following the home tie to QPR, Wrexham will then face Norwich City, Derby County, Leicester City, Birmingham City and Stoke City. The latter three have all enjoyed a positive start to the 2025/26 Championship season, with the home clash against Derby providing the only game where Wrexham will be expected to win.
If Wrexham are to achieve any level of success this season, even if it is just survival in the Championship, home ties against QPR should bring expectations for three points, which will be crucial for Phil Parkinson ahead of what could be a challenging period.
Wrexham currently find themselves with one win and a draw, sitting in 15th place, but a win this weekend could propel them as high as 7th, depending on results elsewhere in the Championship.
