Wrexham are back in Championship action this weekend, taking on QPR in North Wales.
Wrexham resume league duties with another tough assignment on Saturday, taking on QPR at the Racecourse.
But Phil Parkinson’s side look to be taking a lot of momentum into this weekend, after Wrexham beat Millwall 2-0 in their last outing, and after what was a very productive deadline day.
In the end, Wrexham signed three new players on deadline day to take their summer signings tally up to 13, with an incredible £40million total spend by owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac.
As things stand, Wrexham sit in 15th place of the Championship table with four points from four games, compared to QPR with the same points tally, but who sit in 18th right now.

Benjamin Bloom gives his Wrexham vs QPR score prediction
Wrexham were deserved winners at The Den last time out. In one of the toughest stadiums to play against, the Dragons didn’t look out of place whatsoever, and with the likes of deadline day signings Ben Sheaf, Dom Hyam and Issa Kabore potentially featuring this weekend, another Wrexham win certainly seems possible.
And for EFL expert Benjamin Bloom, it’s Wrexham who are going to win at the weekend. Speaking on the Championship Check In, Bloom predicted a 2-1 Wrexham win against QPR: “I feel like I’ve backed Wrexham a lot this season and been wrong, and then I don’t think I backed them against Millwall. So I’m just wrong all the time about Wrexham!
“They’re going to come good. I think they are going to win this game.”
Phil Parkinson’s record vs QPR is worrying
Parkinson has worked wonders at Wrexham, with three-straight promotions to his name and a potential fourth promotion now in the works.
And he’s vastly experienced in the Championship, too, with 145 total games managed in the second tier including the games from this season, and now 27 wins after the last win at Millwall.
But Parkinson has a poor career record against QPR with just one win to his name from 10 matches, with six of those being losses.
| Wins | Draws | Losses | |
| Parkinson’s record vs QPR | 1 | 3 | 6 |
Now armed with a very strong-looking Wrexham side, though, Parkinson might be hoping to improve his record against the West London team, with a win this weekend able to lift Wrexham right up the Championship table in this early stage of the campaign.
