The Red Dragons signed Sam Smith on January 31, after Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds decided to spend big in the winter window.
Smith is a record transfer, arriving from Reading to become the club’s first-ever seven-figure deal.
He has more than lived up to his price tag so far, scoring a very solid seven goals in his first three months in Wales.
Now, fans have spotted what Paul Mullin did for the number nine on Saturday once promotion was confirmed.

After the initial pitch invasion, the squad and owners took to the field to celebrate going back-to-back-to-back.
Mullin did not feature in the game but watched on from the stands, and fans have now highlighted what the 30-year-old was spotted doing during the aftermath of promotion.
During Sky Sports’ coverage of the tie, the Liverpool-born ace was shown pushing Smith toward the Wrexham crowd in order to receive his applause.

What Paul Mullin said about Wrexham promotion
Mullin lost his place in the squad not long after Smith and Jay Rodriguez were signed in January.
But the Englishman still had a key role to play in promotion, including scoring a goal after 16 seconds when the Red Dragons beat Rotherham United 1-0.
Mullin commented on Wrexham’s promotion shortly after the Charlton fixture came to a close.
He said: “It’s lovely for someone to say that but it’s not just because of me, it has been a real team effort. I signed here four seasons ago now and when I did Rob McElhenney told me the plan to get to the Championship within five years
“We’ve done it a year early and the team this year have been unbelievable, it has been some journey and I think look at these fans, they f—— deserve it, sorry for the language but they deserve it.”
