Wrexham won promotion to the Championship on Saturday and attention is now beginning to turn toward the summer.
A transfer for Jamie Vardy looks to be off the cards, but there is still plenty of work to be done for the Red Dragons in the coming months.
Wrexham will spend big on wages in the forthcoming season as they look to cement themselves in the second tier.
Players have earned bonuses following promotion, which has been secured with a week of the 2024/25 season left to play.
It means Wrexham have avoided the play-offs, which fans should be thrilled about given their dire record in the competition.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney meeting planned with Phil Parkinson
Now, manager Phil Parkinson has been discussing the club’s plans for the coming months.
A transfer for Kevin De Bruyne was mooted, but that is obviously a pretty far-fetched move that won’t be happening.
However, it’s still an exciting period for the club, who are preparing for life in the Championship for the first time since it was rebranded.
Just days after the promotion was confirmed, meanwhile, Parkinson, as per Leader Live, has been discussing the benefit of going up automatically and confirmed there will be a sit down with Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
He said: “We need to evaluate in terms of the budget and the level of wages players are going to demand, and balancing that quality with the culture and what we’ve built here.
“The great thing about going up now automatically is we’ve got a long time now to reflect on this and sit down with the owners, which we will do.”

Phil Parkinson on improving Wrexham squad
Wrexham have several players out of contract in the summer, including Steven Fletcher and Mark Howard.
There are a number of players who did not play too much in 2024/25 as well, and it remains to be seen what will happen with their futures.
On improving the squad, Parkinson stated: “We’re always planning. You’ve got to because of the speed at which we’ve evolved as a club.
“Some great players and some great characters have left us but my job is to keep improving the squad all the time, during the season as well.
“Planning is ongoing and it’s always difficult when you don’t know what division you’re in but the thing about the play-offs, if you end up going through to the play-off final and win or lose, it takes up a lot of chunk of that time.
“Now we’ve got a great opportunity to sit back and make good decisions going forward.”
