Wrexham have been on an incredible journey across the last four years as they achieved three consecutive promotions from the National League to the Championship.
Phil Parkinson has been the man to deliver this success as manager of the club for the Hollywood owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, after they bought the team four years ago.
It is no secret that the Welsh club would love to make the next step to the Premier League; however, there is an understanding that this will be difficult, with Humphrey Kerr believing three things must be present first.
Yet, one EFL pundit has given his opinion on one factor that could help to motivate them in their pursuit to achieve promotion to the English top flight.

David Prutton joked that avoiding having to talk to him will motivate Wrexham to achieve promotion
David Prutton was previewing the Friday night clash between the Red Dragons and the Blues for Sky Sports, getting into why Chris Davies’ side have struggled compared to the preseason expectations many placed upon them due to their League One campaign.
When asked about whether he had become close to the owners of Wrexham and had received their phone numbers, the EFL pundit admitted that he hadn’t and that he would love to get closer; however, he then joked that avoiding having to speak to him may be motivation for promotion.

He said: “None of them. I would absolutely love to be on first-name terms with them, not even best friends, just acquaintances, just so they say, ‘Hi, man who does some telly on our division.’
“If that is not motivation enough for them to get to the Premier League so that I am not talking about them, then I don’t know what is.
“A picture of me on their dressing room.”

David Prutton gives his score verdict between Wrexham and Birmingham City
A first league win for Wrexham in 46 years against Birmingham is at stake on Friday night when the two sides square off at the Racecourse Ground.
Should Phil Parkinson deliver a victory, it will be the first one at home in the Championship this campaign.
However, David Prutton does not believe the Red Dragons will be able to secure that this weekend, as he explained to Sky Sports ahead of the game.
He said: “A draw, but a treat of a draw. We have just talked about Birmingham’s troubles in front of goal.
“You know what? They are going to go there and score two, and I think that Wrexham are going to score two.”
