Wrexham beat Burton Albion 3-0 on Saturday afternoon to move another step closer to a place in the Championship next season.
The end of the season is in sight, and Wrexham fans are enjoying another real promotion push.
After promotion from the National League and League Two, Wrexham are chasing a third in a row.
This end-of-season buzz is becoming quite the occurrence for Wrexham fans, and Phil Parkinson could mastermind another promotion.
Saturday afternoon saw Wrexham beat Burton Albion 3-0 as second-half goals from Steven Fletcher, Sam Smith and Jack Marriott secured the victory.
Wycombe Wanderers lost at Reading to hand Wrexham a six-point lead in second place, giving Parkinson a crucial boost in the promotion race.

Eoghan O’Connell on Wrexham mentality
The job isn’t done just yet, and Wrexham need to remain focused in the final weeks of the season.
Yes, Wrexham have a six-point advantage, and, yes, Wycombe’s run-in looks much harder on paper.
Yet, until Wrexham’s promotion is confirmed, there is still a chance for Wycombe to catch up and ruin Wrexham’s fun.
Parkinson is so level-headed and will be hammering into his players not to get too excited before promotion is mathematically secured.
Defender Eoghan O’Connell has now commented on Wrexham’s dressing room mentality whilst speaking to BBC Sport.
O’Connell noted that the promotion race is in Wrexham’s hands, but that really isn’t being taken lightly.
The Irishman admitted the ‘best thing’ Wrexham have shown in similar situations over the years is simply not getting carried away.
O’Connell and his teammates know that one result shouldn’t leave anybody too high or too low, with last week’s 2-2 draw at Cambridge United a perfect example.
That result wasn’t ideal for Wrexham, but the squad remained level-headed and hit back with a victory against Burton Albion.
O’Connell claims that the Wrexham squad are enjoying the run-in but now just want to get the job finished and secure that third promotion in a row.
“It’s in our own hands in the run-in, but we won’t take that for granted,” said O’Connell.
“Any victory at this stage of the season is a big victory, especially after Tuesday night. In the end it turned out to be a good point but we didn’t want to lose momentum. Just to win today is huge.
“I suppose it’s a swing, but a few weeks ago we were beaten by Leyton Orient and it was the end of the world. The best thing we’ve done at this stage over the last few years is never get carried away by one result, and we will look to keep doing that with five games to go.
“We’re enjoying it but we’ll enjoy it even more if we finish the job,” he added.
All eyes on Huddersfield Town
Wrexham fans haven’t had many free midweeks this season.
EFL Trophy and League One fixtures have given Wrexham a busy schedule, often filling midweeks with fixtures.
Wrexham fans may be glued to their televisions on Tuesday night, but Parkinson’s side are not in action at all.
Wycombe’s game in hand takes place on Tuesday night, as the Chairboys travel to face Huddersfield Town away from home.
The Terriers have blown hot and cold throughout 2025 but could do Wrexham a huge favour by picking up a result against Wycombe tonight.
Wrexham fans will be supporting Huddersfield for one night only, with anything but a Wycombe victory pushing Parkinson another step closer to the Championship.
