The Red Dragons will need to look the part in the Championship, so here’s everything we know about the release date for Wrexham’s new kits in 2025/26.

With Wrexham preparing for life in the second tier — their first time back at that level for 43 years — we know that Phil Parkinson will be making many changes to his playing squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

There are also big changes taking place at the Racecourse Ground, with a new pitch and the substitutes bench being moved.

But, for fans, one of the most exciting parts of a new season is the release of a new kit. So, when can we expect the latest drop, and what will it look like? Here’s what we know.

When will Wrexham’s new kits be released?

The traditional red home kit for Wrexham is a staple for any Red Dragons fan. Last season, the home kit design was revealed on June 16, 2024 and made available for pre-orders.

That means we could well see a new design for the 2025/26 Championship campaign dropping pretty soon, if Wrexham stick to a similar schedule this year. Keep your eyes peeled around June 15 if they go for a Sunday announcement again.

The black Wrexham away shirt for 2024/25 was officially released on August 1, 2024. Fans didn’t have to wait quite as long for the gold third kit last season, though, with that one dropping on July 24, 2024.

If that plan is adhered to again this summer, we’d predict the third kit being launched anywhere between July 24-27, while the away kit will likely be a week later, between July 31-August 3.

Last season, the shirts alone were priced at £60 for adults and £50 for juniors. We’d be surprised to see this change this season.

Wrexham’s 2025/26 kit designs

Obviously the Wrexham home shirt will be red, and based on rumours, we don’t expect much to change in terms of the finer details here.

White accents will be included, while Macron are likely to incorporate some kind of subtle pattern and detailing to the shirt.

Wrexham’s black kit was a good luck omen in 2024/25, with the Red Dragons not losing a game when wearing it. However, it is thought they will veer away from that colourway in favour of a crisp white/silver colour palette for the new season.

Very little is known about Wrexham and Macron’s plans for the third kit, but given the gold design of 2024/25 we can expect something pretty outlandish again next season.

As for the goalkeeper kits, we anticipate more vibrant colours again for the new season. We wouldn’t be surprised to see more yellow or turquoise that Wrexham had in 2024/25.

Who will sponsor the new Wrexham kits?

This is the final year of the contract between Wrexham and Macron. There’s still a chance that deal could be extended, but we anticipate that partnership coming to an end.

In fact, we’d be very surprised if Nike didn’t swoop in and bag a deal with the Red Dragons, given the huge US following Wrexham have thanks to owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

On the front of the shirt, United Airlines will continue to sponsor the kits again next season. The sponsorship deal is worth £5-6m per year for Wrexham, which is essentially Premier League level in terms of financials.
