Wrexham’s rise has been remarkable in recent years and so many players would no doubt love to be part of the journey under Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
Wrexham are now chasing promotion to the Championship – something few could have predicted just a few years ago.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds paid £2million for Wrexham in 2021 and the club’s rise ever since has been incredible to witness.
Phil Parkinson has masterminded back-to-back promotions with Wrexham moving from the National League to League One in rapid fashion.
Wrexham have also become a force off the pitch with ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ showcasing the inner workings of the club under McElhenney and Reynolds.
Wrexham now have fans across the world with Americans particularly buying into the project at the STōK Cae Ras.

Ex-Manchester United talent wanted Wrexham move
Everybody wants a piece of the Wrexham story right now and James Chester is no different.
The former Manchester United talent played 35 times for Wales, qualifying through his Rhyl-born mother.
Chester is now turning out for Salford City in League Two having most recently been with Stoke City, Derby County and Barrow.
The 35-year-old has now spoken on Feast of Football and praised the Wrexham rise.
Chester noted that he has tried to Wrexham in each of the last three seasons, offering his services to Parkinson and co.
Wrexham have never struck that deal but Chester holds no hard feelings having praised the rise as ‘wonderful’.
Chester thinks that Wrexham are doing a great service for Welsh football and especially in the North of the country.
“I’ve tried,” said Chester.
“I think what Wrexham are doing as a football club and for football, certainly for North Wales, is wonderful. I think seeing the rise and how popular they are is only a good thing.
“I know we spoke when we were playing and we got to the Euros, it was to build a prolonged legacy for Welsh football and Wrexham are certainly doing their bit for that as well.
“I’ve tried for the last three seasons,” he added.
Wrexham now have a pair of ex-Manchester United prospects
Chester has never been able to join the Wrexham rise but Parkinson does have a couple of former United talents in his ranks.
Wrexham signed Ollie Rathbone from Rotherham United over the summer, bringing the midfielder to the STōK Cae Ras.
Rathbone started his career in the United ranks but was let go at the age of 19, heading to Rochdale.
The 28-year-old has now been joined at Wrexham by another former United prospect.
Wrexham snapped up Matty James in October, luring the free agent after an injury to George Evans.
James similarly never made a first-team appearance for United but has been a Championship regular over the years.
Both James and Rathbone will hope to play a big part this season as Wrexham chase promotion with Chester watching on from afar.
