Wrexham fans will be donning yellow for the season ahead after the club’s new away kit was officially revealed to the world.
The Red Dragons are gearing up for what is essentially the biggest season in the club’s history, as they return to the second tier for the first time in 43 years.
Phil Parkinson and his players are currently out in Australia for their pre-season tour, but fans at home are preparing for the 2025/26 campaign in their own way; by getting excited about new football kits.
Just a few days after the new Wrexham home kit was revealed, the club has now shared official details of the new away kit, too, and it’s a beauty.

Fans are happy with the new Wrexham away kit
While the new home kit got a mixed response from fans, it seems the supporters are pretty happy with the new away kit.
The shirt is yellow with dark green pinstripes and a green collar. In the club announcement on Twitter/X, it is said the kit is “inspired by the national flower of Wales, the Daffodil.”
In response to the reveal, one fan said: “I like we’re mixing it up with colours this season, gives us a fresh new look.”
Another added, “I actually love this shirt, looks way better in person than in the leaks. Loving the yellow and green lines with green collar.”
Elsewhere, one fan said, “Wow, genuinely love this kit,” while another added, “Much prefer this to the home.”
The new kit is reminiscent of yellow Wrexham kits from the ’90s. This had one fan very excited, posting a picture of the classic kit and writing: “Love that. First Wrexham away shirt I knew.”
Eagle-eyed fans will have spotted this away shirt being leaked over the weekend by a US retailer, which prompted a few funny responses now it’s officially available.
One fan replied, “We’re all pretending we didn’t see the leak of the away kit two days ago, right?” and another said, “Worst kept secret.”

Wrexham kits are a money-making machine
Whether fans like the new kits or not, one thing’s for sure, they will sell like hot cakes. The Wrexham kits might cost a pretty penny, but with so many fans around the world, the Red Dragons will have no trouble shifting them.
For the shirt alone, Wrexham fans will have to pay £65. If they want names and numbers on the back and a Championship badge to the shirt, it’ll cost them up to £89.
That actually makes Wrexham’s the second most expensive kit in the Championship, with only Preston North End’s coming in higher at £70.
In addition to this income, Wrexham have bumper sponsorship deals in place with the likes of Macron and United Airlines. It’s unclear just how much Macron brings in, but we know the latter give Wrexham around £5-6m per year.
