A new season of Welcome to Wrexham is due out in May and it’ll document the latest successes of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Wrexham were promoted to the Championship over the weekend. Phil Parkinson’s side thumped Charlton Athletic 3-0 in one of their best performances of the season, securing 2nd place in the League One table in the process.
It secures a third-straight promotion for the Dragons who appear to be unstoppable in their incredible rise under owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who arrived at the club in 2021 and have since overseen drastic changes.
And in May, fans will be treated to the newest season of Welcome to Wrexham. Season four of Welcome to Wrexham premieres on May 15th and it’ll surely be another fantastic watch for both Wrexham fans and football fans in general.
With another promotion in the bag too, Welcome to Wrexham should make for a great watch.

Tom Brady looks set to feature heavily in Welcome to Wrexham season four
Reynolds on his YouTube channel dropped the official Welcome to Wrexham season four trailer, and the very first thing he mentions is Birmingham City and their minority owner Tom Brady. The NFL legend acquired shares in the club in 2023 and he’s been present at several games since.
It’s Brady’s Birmingham City and Reynolds and McElhenney’s Wrexham who were the two standout teams in League One this season, and given either side’s Hollywood connection, it’s made for a very interesting story in the US as well.
The trailer also included a conversation between Brady and McElhenney where they discussed their respective teams going up against each other. The trailer also featured Channing Tatum who appeared in a Stok Cold Brew Super Bowl commercial earlier this year.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham could outspend Tom Brady’s Birmingham City in 25/26
Birmingham City broke the League One transfer record going into this season after signing Jay Stansfield in a deal understood to be in the region of £14million.
And speaking soon after their promotion was confirmed, Blues owner Tom Wagner suggested Birmingham City could spend big again this summer, ahead of their return to the Championship for the 2025/26 season.
But speaking to Wrexham Insider previously, football finance expert Adam Williams revealed how Wrexham have £38million worth of headroom for the upcoming summer transfer window and so the Dragons could even outspend Brady’s Birmingham City this summer.
Of course, spending needs to be smart, as Championship football will be Wrexham’s biggest challenge to date.
