Wrexham players are gearing up for this weekend’s clash against Rotherham United and youngsters had a chance to shine on Tuesday.
Thankfully, the international break is coming to an end.
Wrexham will be back in action this weekend, travelling to face Rotherham United in a big League One clash.
The last League One win over Northampton Town feels like it came an age ago, but there has been some action in between.
Modou Faal was named Man of the Match as Wrexham beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 in the EFL Trophy.
Tuesday also saw Wrexham feature in the Central League as young players were given an opportunity to impress.

Josh Adam features in Wrexham defeat
On Tuesday afternoon, Wrexham travelled to Lancashire to take on Preston North End.
The game took place at Springfields, PNE’s old first-team training ground which is now used for their youth team.
PNE went into the break 1-0 up before Max Purvis and Harry Ashfield turned the game in Wrexham’s favour.
That was as good as it got though, with North End going on to win the game 4-2.
This was a game full of young players as Kian Best was the only significant first-team name in the PNE lineup.
On the Wrexham side, talented youngsters Aaron James, Harry Dean and the aforementioned Ashfield all started, as shown on the team sheet below, whilst veteran Mark Howard featured in goal.
There was also a starting role for recent signing Josh Adam as he looks to build up his minutes as a Wrexham player.
Adam joined Wrexham on a free transfer in September but has yet to make a first-team appearance.
Adam looking to impress
The Scottish midfielder was a highly regarded talent at Celtic before being plucked by Manchester City in 2020.
Adam featured regularly in the Under-18 Premier League and in Premier League 2 before surprisingly being let go at the end of last season.
The 20-year-old spent the summer as a free agent but joined Wrexham for training in August.
Wrexham secured a permanent deal, handing Adam a one-year deal with the option of a second.
Adam needs to take every opportunity to impress, whether it’s in the Central League, EFL Trophy or eventually League One.
Wrexham will have a decision to make on whether to keep Adam for a second year and this Central League appearance was just another step towards hopefully developing him into a first-team star.
