Wrexham could leave Swansea City reeling as Phil Parkinson targets three players who turned out for the Swans last season.
Wrexham are yet to strike an incoming deal this summer, but the rumour mill has been working in overdrive.
Links to Christian Eriksen may be a touch fanciful, but some impressive names are being linked with Wrexham.
Swansea City defender Harry Darling is on Wrexham’s radar, though a host of clubs are eyeing his signature.
Darling’s former Swansea teammate Lewis O’Brien is also a Wrexham target, having returned to Nottingham Forest at the end of his loan spell.
Wrexham even fancy Myles Peart-Harris, another Swansea loanee from last season, with the trio potentially in line to reunite at the STōK Cae Ras.

Lee Trundle on Harry Darling and Lewis O’Brien to Wrexham
The pursuits of Darling and O’Brien are very different.
Darling is a free agent and will be fielding offers from clubs all over, with his representatives angling for the best deal.
O’Brien is now back with Nottingham Forest and Wrexham will have to negotiate with the Premier League side to thrash out a deal.
Swansea hope to keep Darling and director of football Richard Montague hasn’t given up hope of re-signing O’Brien.
Lee Trundle – formerly of both Wrexham and Swansea – has now offered his view on the rumours while speaking on Fearless In Devotion.
Trundle suggested that Darling has been ‘brilliant’ for Swansea, praising his ability at both ends of the pitch.
Trundle also praised O’Brien, suggesting that he can make a real difference by bursting forward from midfield into the final third.
The former striker did highlight O’Brien’s wages, though, with his contract at Forest potentially an issue for Swansea.
“Harry Darling, for me, is someone that I think we’re desperate to keep,” said Trundle. “He’s been brilliant for us, he’s great in both boxes, he’s very good on the ball, bringing it out, so I think any team that Harry goes into, he would strengthen them. I think he’s a really good player.
“Lewis was brilliant for us last year. Matt Grimes was a completely different player to Lewis; Matt would drop into that centre-half position to get on the ball, whereas Lewis wants to play further up the field and go and drive at players and make things happen.
“He would be a great addition, the only thing I would say about Lewis is, obviously, he’s still contracted to Forest. He’ll be on a very good contract, so it’s whether the wages could get matched because I know that was a stumbling point at Swansea.
“There’s the other problem when you move into the Championship, you’re not only talking about the quality of the players, but the wages as well, where it is a big chance to take on people,” he added.
Harry Darling and Lewis O’Brien in demand
Darling and O’Brien would represent significant additions for Wrexham, given that they are proven Championship players who may still have their best years ahead of them.
The problem is that other clubs are also interested in the pair, leaving Wrexham in quite the battle for their signatures.
Rangers want Darling and are a major threat to win the race, given that the defender’s former manager Russell Martin has just taken charge at Ibrox.
Norwich City are also keen on Darling, with new boss Liam Manning familiar with the defender from their time at Milton Keynes Dons.
O’Brien has been eyed by Valencia, with boss Carlos Corberan keen to reunite after enjoying success at Huddersfield Town.
That just goes to show the calibre of player Wrexham are now chasing, with Parkinson looking to take his up a level in preparation for the Championship battle.
