Wrexham continue to be linked with new signings as Phil Parkinson weighs up additions ahead of Championship life.

May is coming to an end and the summer transfer window is about to take full focus.

Wrexham are reportedly ready to splash the cash this summer, with Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds ready to invest in new faces.

Experienced heads are again being targeted, with Wrexham interested in signing Aaron Cresswell after his release from West Ham United.

Veteran Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney is also on Wrexham’s radar, but we are also seeing younger players being linked.

CF Montreal forward Sunusi Ibrahim is believed to be a Wrexham target and a Premier League talent has now been floated.

Wrexham interested in Myles Peart-Harris

Wales Online report that Wrexham are now showing an interest in signing Brentford midfielder Myles Peart-Harris.

It’s suggested that Wrexham have identified Peart-Harris as a potential addition to Parkinson’s squad.

Peart-Harris has just one year remaining on his Brentford contract, but the Bees can extend his deal by another year.

Wrexham could chase a loan move for Peart-Harris, but a permanent move cannot be ruled out.

Peart-Harris turns 23 later this year, and the time may be right for him to move on and seek first-team opportunities away from West London.

Brentford paid £1.4million to sign Peart-Harris in 2021, as reported by the Daily Mail, but he has only ever made three league appearances for the club.

Wrexham could offer Peart-Harris a permanent home with a chance to play on a regular basis in Parkinson’s winning machine.

Peart-Harris came up through the Chelsea ranks, spending 11 years with the Blues before departing for Brentford.

Viewed as one for the future, Peart-Harris has not been able to break into Thomas Frank’s Bees side.

Six goals on loan at Forest Green Rovers in the 2022-23 season showed Peart-Harris in an attacking sense, before helping Portsmouth win promotion from League One with two goals in 12 games in 2024.

Peart-Harris headed off on loan again last summer, joining Swansea City for a season of Championship football.

The 22-year-old chipped in with three goals and four assists in 29 games for the Swans but saw a back injury cut his season short in March.

Peart-Harris predominantly played out wide for Swansea, but can also play as a number 10.

Wrexham don’t really play with natural wingers under Parkinson, so Peart-Harris may be viewed as an attacking threat from midfield.

Peart-Harris has been praised as ‘physically brilliant’ by Pompey boss John Mousinho, as quoted by The News, whilst also backing him for a ‘very, very exciting career’.

The youngster certainly appears to have real potential and could make for a fine addition to Wrexham’s midfield ranks – if a deal can be secured.
