Wrexham are expected to be active in the transfer market this summer as Phil Parkinson makes changes at the STōK Cae Ras.
Championship business is starting to pick up with Preston North End already racking up four summer signings at this early stage.
Wrexham are yet to get involved, but that may not be a huge surprise.
Phil Parkinson doesn’t tend to rush into business in any transfer window, and Wrexham will be calculated with any signings this summer.
Wrexham have let players leave, with Steven Fletcher’s exit a headline departure from last season’s promotion-winning squad.
Parkinson has also decided to let three goalkeepers leave Wrexham, with Mark Howard, Brad Foster and Liam Hall all moving on.

Luke McNicholas a question mark for Wrexham this summer
Goalkeepers don’t count towards the squad limit in League One, but they do in the Championship.
That means Parkinson has been ruthless with his decisions on goalkeepers, as he simply cannot carry the number he had last season.
Arthur Okonkwo will be Wrexham’s number-one goalkeeper once again, with Callum Burton offering quality competition.
The third-choice spot at Wrexham is open after those departures, and that brings Luke McNicholas into the picture.
McNicholas may be something of a forgotten man to many Wrexham fans, given that he has only made three appearances for the club.
The Irishman joined Wrexham from Sligo Rovers and turned an initial loan move into a permanent switch.
McNicholas impressed on loan at Rochdale last season but returned to Wrexham in January after an injury blow.
McNicholas featured on the Wrexham bench on two occasions in the EFL Trophy but was left out in League One.
That brings us to this summer and a potentially crucial moment for McNicholas and his Wrexham career.
McNicholas may be viewed as the man to take the third-choice role, meaning Parkinson wouldn’t need to bring in a new signing.
However, McNicholas admitted last summer that he wants to play regularly rather than sitting on the bench or being in the stands.
Now 25, McNicholas heads into the summer as a question mark for Wrexham, as it’s unclear just what kind of role Parkinson has in mind for him – and much will depend on how McNicholas feels about being third-choice at Wrexham rather than first-choice elsewhere.
Danny Ward linked with Wrexham
We haven’t seen many goalkeepers linked with Wrexham this summer, so it’s unclear whether Parkinson intends to bring in a new face or go with McNicholas.
One rumour did emerge last weekend, though, with reports suggesting Wrexham are interested in Danny Ward.
Leicester City have released Ward at the end of his contract, making the Welsh international a free agent.
That rumour didn’t quite add up for us; Ward really needs to play first-team football having spent far too long on the bench at Leicester.
Ward surely wouldn’t replace Okonkwo in the Wrexham goal any time soon and would represent a pretty expensive second-choice goalkeeper in terms of wages.
Veteran goalkeepers to replace Howard may make more sense, but McNicholas is one man to consider over pre-season.
