Since Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac became their owners, A-list celebrities turning up in Wrexham has become the norm.
After filming Deadpool and Wolverine alongside Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman attended a Wrexham match in 2024.
Another Marvel actor, Paul Rudd, travelled to North Wales as well and even visited the famous Turf Pub.
More recently, Channing Tatum watched Wrexham in action during the 2024/25 season alongside Reynolds.
During his visit, an infamous story took place, and a further development on the situation has been shared this week.

Ollie Palmer reacts to Channing Tatum photo
Ryan and Tatum watched Wrexham draw 2-2 with Cambridge United on December 14, 2024.
After the stalemate, the latter was invited out to attend Elliot Lee’s birthday party.
Tatum obliged, and what ensued was seemingly a pretty crazy night on the town.
Details of Tatum partying with Wrexham players were shared over the summer by Reynolds when Season 4 of Welcome to Wrexham came out.
Ryan revealed messages he received from the actor while he was with the stars, saying: “I’m going to read you Channing’s texts on the night in question. ‘Oops, I might have had too much fun with the boys’. Long pause. Then I get ‘we definitely got way more loose than I was ever planning to. It happened and I’m sorry’.
“What happened? [Ryan asked] I get this back, ‘it’s definitely gonna be on the internet’. ——- Magic Mike.”
The story has reemerged once again this week after the Wrexham co-owner went on a late-night talk show and, for the first time, revealed a photo of Tatum and several players partying.
Among them was striker Ollie Palmer, who has now responded to his former boss via Instagram.
He wrote: “And we nearly kept it under wraps… BUT what a time was had for @elliotlee9.”
What Ollie Palmer has said about returning to Wrexham
Palmer, of course, left Wrexham to join Swindon Town on a free transfer at the back end of August.
The striker is thriving in League Two, but the Welsh club will always seemingly have a special place in his heart.
Immediately after leaving, Palmer was already talking about when he could return to Wrexham.
He said: “It’s been an absolute privilege and honour to be at this football club and to be able to achieve the things that we have and there’s going to be many more great moments for this football club.
“In five, ten, fifteen, twenty years down the line I want to be able to watch, spectate and be able to be in the stands and enjoy myself.
“The relationships within that dressing room are so strong and I think winning and getting promotions definitely helped grow those bonds.
“There’s just something special about this football club and you just want it to last forever. Wrexham will have a place in my heart for the rest of my life.
“It’s been the best three and a half years of my career so far easily and something that can never be taken away from me.”
