Wrexham begin their 2024/25 FA Cup journey on Sunday, November 3rd, against Harrogate Town.
The Red Dragons will take a much-needed break from the high-pressure League One season this weekend.
Wrexham are battling it out for an automatic promotion place this term but slipped down to third after a 2-2 draw with Charlton Athletic last time out.
This has seen the Welsh outfit fall four points behind first-place Birmingham City having played a game more than the Tom Brady-owned club.
Wrexham now face a fairly tough test in the first round of the FA Cup against a side they have never beaten.
Phil Parkinson’s men drew both of their League Two fixtures with Harrogate Town in 2023/24 and were knocked out of the FA Cup by them three years ago.
Modou Faal could start for Wrexham vs Harrogate this weekend, with Parkinson likely to make a number of changes to his eleven.

Lewis Brunt will be itching to prove himself when Wrexham face Harrogate Town
Faal is not the only player who could be given a rare start in the FA Cup this weekend, however.
Lewis Brunt has really struggled to cement himself as a regular feature under Parkinson following his summer move from Leicester City.
The centre-back has played just 21 minutes in League One for the Red Dragons, with his only starts coming in the Carabao Cup and EFL trophy.
In the league, Brunt is seemingly the fifth-choice centre-back for Wrexham with Max Cleworth, Thomas O’Connor, Dan Scarr and Eoghan O’Connell all ahead of him in the pecking order.
However, Brunt is ‘exceptional’ and knows the meeting with Harrogate will offer him a great chance to prove to Parkinson he is wrong for not picking him in the league this season.

Other Wrexham stars could impress Phil Parkinson vs Harrogate Town
As well as Faal and Brunt, a couple more fringe players could be in line to start against Harrogate in the FA Cup.
Sebastian Revan is being kept out of the team in the league due to the superb form of Ryan Barnett but should come into the eleven on Sunday.
Revan is a top player and may be able to stake a claim for more minutes if he plays well in the cup.
The game could also present a big chance for recent free-agent additions Matty James and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson to show the Wrexham manager what they are all about.
Both players were signed to short-term deals that expire in January so a good display against Harrogate, if they are selected, would do them no harm.
