Wrexham kick off their 2024/25 FA Cup run with a meeting against Harrogate Town on Sunday.
The Red Dragons are flying high in the league this season and remain in with a chance of securing automatic promotion under Phil Parkinson.
Their latest promotion charge has been put on pause for a week, however, as they now prepare to face off with Harrogate Town in the FA Cup.
Wrexham have never beaten the Yorkshire outfit in their three previous attempts, drawing twice in League Two last season and losing in the FA Cup back in 2021.
Harrogate are excited to face Wrexham but their initial stance on the cup draw was pretty different, as revealed by one club chief.
Wrexham head into Sunday’s game looking to progress and better last campaign’s fourth-round exit from the competition.
The Welsh outfit have never made it past the quarter-final stage of the competition, last getting into the last eight back in 1996/97.

Wrexham team news vs Harrogate Town
Wrexham did not pick up any fresh injury concerns in their last League One fixture against Charlton Athletic.
But they still have a couple of absentees going into the game with Harrogate.
Jack Marriott will be out injured for four months after breaking his leg in late October, obviously ruling him out of this tie.
George Evans is another long-term absentee, and the exact return date for the midfielder is still yet to be revealed.
Steven Fletcher picked up an injury ahead of Huddersfield Town and he too could miss out versus Harrogate, though the striker is likely to return soon.

Wrexham predicted XI vs Harrogate Town
Given it is the first round of the cup, Parkinson is likely to make a number of changes to his starting line-up and hand some fringe players a chance.
Modou Faal has, so far, made just two substitute appearances in League One in 2024/25 but could be given a rare start against Harrogate.
Wrexham signed Faal for a club-record fee of £590,000 in August but he has struggled to break into the eleven.
This clash could be the perfect chance for the striker to prove himself, however, after Parkinson called Faal ‘exciting’ in September.
Elsewhere, Sebastian Revan will likely come in at right-wing-back to give MVP Ryan Barnett a rest, while Lewis Brunt and recent signing Matt James could be given a run-out as well.
Here’s how we think Wrexham will line up against Harrogate on Sunday…
