Wrexham picked up a second home win in a matter of days, beating Wigan Athletic 2-1 at the STōK Cae Ras on Sunday.
Wrexham beat Blackpool 2-1 on Boxing Day, coming from behind to seal a fine victory over the Seasiders.
Paul Mullin’s stunning goal impressed Wrexham fans but it was Steven Fletcher who came off the bench to win it.
It was a similar story against Wigan Athletic on Sunday as Wrexham were heading towards a 1-1 draw late on.
Substitute Fletcher popped up with another winner, this time swivelling and firing home from James McClean’s cross.
Phil Parkinson hailed Fletcher’s impact after the final whistle as the veteran forward again proved to be the hero.

Phil Parkinson praises Wrexham substitute
Fletcher’s quality has been highlighted by Ben Tozer but Parkinson also paid tribute to another striker.
Parkinson threw Modou Faal on with just three minutes to play – moments before the Fletcher winner.
Faal’s efforts off the bench were not overlooked though as Parkinson moved to praise the giant forward.
Parkinson told Wrexham’s official YouTube channel that he felt Faal was a ‘handful’ coming off the bench late on.
The Wrexham boss added that he was pleased for Faal to make an impact with just a few minutes on the pitch having struggled for game time this season.
“I thought Mo was a handful again when he came on, just for the limited time he was on,” said Parkinson.
“I’m pleased for Mo to get some game time,” he added.
Wrexham signed Faal from West Bromwich Albion on deadline day back in August, landing him as a project for the future.
The Gambian striker has yet to start a League One game this season though and has tallied just 37 minutes of league action.
Parkinson was happy to call upon Faal in pursuit of a winner against Wigan though – and seemingly liked what he saw.
Modou Faal will have to be patient
Faal will be pleased to have been given a chance from the bench against Wigan and will be hoping for more in the near future.
Chances have been hard to come by though and a loan move would be ideal for Faal in January – especially with Wrexham keen to sign another striker.
The problem is that Faal played for West Bromwich Albion in the EFL Cup before joining Wrexham.
That means Faal can’t play for a third club this season and a loan departure won’t be possible in January.
Faal will therefore have to remain patient and hope for chances in the second half of the campaign; you never know when he will be called upon as Wrexham chase another promotion.
