Wrexham’s busy summer of incomings has meant that a number of players have also had to depart the club.
Wrexham have signed Ben Sheaf from Coventry City as the midfielder becomes the club’s eleventh acquisition of the summer and Phil Parkinson is hoping he won’t be the last.
Wrexham are confident of signing Issa Kabore on loan from Manchester City and also have a bid in for Blackburn defender Dom Hyam in a bid to get a deal done before the deadline.
It means that the Red Dragons have had to sign off on a number of exits from the Racecourse Ground and the latest is a player that fans will be sad to see leave. Parkinson has reacted to the move.

Phil Parkinson praises Thomas O’Connor following Wrexham exit
Peterborough have signed Thomas O’Connor on loan from Wrexham in a deal that should see the versatile defender get his wish of playing regular first-team football.
O’Connor arrived at Wrexham in 2022 and played a huge part in the club winning three successive promotions into the Championship.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Parkinson has expressed his gratitude towards O’Connor and labelled him a ‘terrific’ player.
Parkinson stated: “I’d like to wish Tommy all the best for his loan move. He’s been great for us in his time here, and I’m sure he’s going to be a terrific addition for Darren and his squad.”
There is still the possibility that O’Connor could return to the club with it being a loan deal, however, he will now spend the season fighting to lift Peterborough up the League One table.
James McClean leads Wrexham messages to Thomas O’Connor
Captain James McClean has led the messages of support to O’Connor following his exit from the club after a three-year spell.
McClean took to his Instagram and wrote: “Oul neighbour Patsy’s fault, all the best bud.”

It remains to be seen whether there will be any more defensive outgoings with the likes of Eoghan O’Connell and Dan Scarr moving further down the pecking order.
The Wrexham fans will be thankful for everything that O’Connor and his teammates have done to put the club in such a position of strength moving forward.
