Wrexham play host to Huddersfield Town in a League One clash on Tuesday evening and are aiming to match a historic record.
The Red Dragons are in midweek action once more this evening, taking on one of their League One promotion rivals.
Huddersfield Town were relegated from the Championship in 2023/24 but are eyeing a swift return to the second tier, possibly at Wrexham’s expense.
The Terriers have had a mixed start to the season, in part due to their inability to pick up draws.
After 11 games, the Yorkshire outfit are currently the only side in League One still yet to draw a single game.
They have won six and lost five but remain firmly in the promotion picture, sitting sixth on 18 points after 11 fixtures.
Wrexham, on the other hand, have managed to win seven, draw two and lose two, leaving them second ahead of the midweek action getting underway.

Phil Parkinson can match staggering Wrexham record vs Huddersfield Town
A key part of the club’s early season success has been their ability to pick up points at the Racecourse Ground.
Prior to the meeting with Rotherham United this past Saturday, it was revealed that Wrexham have one of the best home records in the EFL.
The Red Dragons are just one of three teams across all of the EFL to have a 100 percent home record in 2024/25 along with Blackburn Rovers and AFC Wimbledon.
Now, if Wrexham pick up three points against Huddersfield, they will match a 91-year-old record.
Wrexham have won each of their last nine home league games, last enjoying a run of 10+ successive home wins in the Football League in April 1933 when they were in the third division north.
It is expected to be a tough game for Phil Parkinson and co. but one they are likely confident of winning given their record at the Racecourse.

Wrexham must improve away from the Racecourse Ground
While Wrexham have been sensational at home of late, they could do with tightening things up on the road.
A 1-0 win at the New York Stadium last time out was a step in the right direction but they have still dropped too many points away from the Racecourse.
Wrexham’s two draws and two defeats in 2024/25 so far have all come away from home despite facing a few weaker sides such as Stevenage and Leyton Orient.
It is nothing to be too concerned about right now but once the business end of the season begins, Parkinson will no doubt want his side to be more consistent away from home.
